If plant-based food is your preference, or if terms such as “organic”, “alternative lifestyle” or “self-sustainable” loom large in your life, you should make a note to visit a new mega-exhibition named The Good Life Show. It is to be staged in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Four-in-one
The Good Life Show is a first-time amalgamation of no fewer than four events that have grown greatly in popularity and reach in recent years. They are:
- The Plant Powered Show, which is Africa’s premier plant-based food, drink and conscious living event,
- The Natural & Organic Show,
- The Free-from Show, which highlights alternatives to mainstream consumerism, and
- SustainEx, which examines sustainability in all its forms.
According to the organisers the Good Life Show is aimed at anyone with an interest in food, health, wellness, and the environment who is looking to live more consciously.
Demos and talks
In addition to the exhibition itself there will be hands-on demonstrations, seminars, talks and more related to each of the separate events.
The show is also open to trade, including the retail, hospitality sectors and to local distributors and exporters. It will appeal to any industry that is looking for innovative, high-quality products, say the organisers.
Show dates
It will take place in Cape Town and then Johannesburg as follows:
- Cape Town International Convention Centre, Cape Town – 31 May – 2 June,
- Kyalami International Convention Centre, Johannesburg – 26 – 28 July.
