The Nampo Harvest Day has, for the first time, had to be cancelled by organisers Grain SA, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 54th edition of the show will now be held online. Themed “Find your 2020 Agri-vision”, from 9-12 September 2020, the virtual Nampo will connect farmers, suppliers and colleagues with exhibitors online.
In addition, the Nampo virtual platform will be available with extended show hours from 09h00 to 19h00, and include a Saturday up to 14:00. Visitors will be able to connect through their preferred device, whether it is a phone, tablet or computer and an internet browser.
Exhibitors will feature all their products on the virtual Nampo platform, and showcase their latest innovations, while visitors will be able to sign up for one-to-one consultations, and delve into the latest technical presentations and product demonstrations.
In addition, the platform variation has provided Grain SA with the opportunity to continue with a virtual Nampo Harvest Day beyond this year. The virtual offering will provide future exhibitors with the option to complement their physical presence at Nampo with a virtual duplicate of their booth, reaching an even wider audience in coming years.
