What began 24 years ago as the Gauteng Smallholder Magazine, then became the SA Smallholder Magazine, and is now this website dedicated to Southern Africa’s smallholder community.
We are smallholders ourselves and have, over the years, tried and tested almost everything one can do on a plot…not always to great success, but with a lot of lessons learned. We bring this knowledge to our editorial. Combining that with over 40 years of publishing experience means we produce good quality, easy-to-read, useful material for South Africa’s smallholder and small farmer community.
