Sakeliga KragDag, which was due to be held next week on 3-5 December 2020, has been postponed until the first quarter of 2021.
The annual event, which focuses on self-sufficiency and sustainability, has been prohibited from taking place by the City of Tshwane’s Events Management department, who says the event would be in contravention of the state of disaster level 1 regulations that limit visitors to an outdoor event to 500.
In a statement released on Monday, 23 November, the organisers say they engaged with the department, offering a number of solutions and explanation of their Covid-readiness plan. However, members of the committee would not be swayed and the decision was made to postpone.
Any updates will be communicated with our readers as they arise.
