Following the destruction of its warehouse and head office during the violence in KZN last month, Stihl SA has set up an online portal for buyers to confirm the origin of the goods they are wanting to purchase. The company has also included those items looted from its dealers and partners.
Potential buyers can simply ask the seller for the serial number of the item, then head to www.stihl-stolen.com or click here. Fill in the product’s serial number to confirm that it has not been stolen before you purchase it.
